14 gauge steel. Our heavier option (about 30% heavier than our mild steel versions).Steel butted rings that are interlocked with a 4-1 design. Armpits are reinforced with riveted rings. Chemically colored steel.

Please note that yourchain mail will arrivewitha thin layer of oil to help prevent against rust. We recommend drying it off before wearingand then re-applying a thin coat of oil or waxwhen storing. While perfect for reenactment, it is not intended for full-contact fighting.
